Our Favourite Bloggers at New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week came and went too fast, as it always does. It is only the lucky few who get invited to most events, as they are not open to anybody who wants to attend. (Otherwise imagine fashion designers presenting their collections to audiences of theatre halls instead of a few rows of chairs). For some dreamers hoping to get a first glimpse of what the designers have in store for the next season, that coveted code bar in the email is just not going to arrive. But there are some people who will never have a problem getting invited to these shows, on the contrary: celebrities. And lately bloggers have become celebrities in their own right. In the past relegated to the standing seats, now they share the first row with actresses and artists. A fashion week would not be the same without their presence, nor without their artistic eye and crafty reporting.

New York Fashion Week attracts probably the largest number of fashion bloggers — considering that many of them already live in the city — so it was very hard to limit our choices, so this list is based solely on personal preferences.

Nicole Alyse (@nicolealyseee) did not leave us a choice: during New York Fashion Week she took over our Instagram account and did such a great job, that she left us even more enamoured. What drew us first to Nicole were her vintage style, her nonconformism and her creative eye. What impressed us even more were her professionalism and easygoing personality. #dreamblogger

Natalie Suarez (@natalieoffduty) is former model whose mixed ethnicity makes for a very colourful background. But her talents include more than physical beauty: with an eye for photography, a way with words and a passion for music, Natalie seems to have it all. Brand ambassador to some of the best known brands in the world, such as Coach and Nordstrom, Natalie is actually never off duty. #bloggerextraordinaire

Dylana Suarez (@dylanasuarez) is a stylist, a photographer, a writer and sister of Natalie Suarez (yes, that is no last name coincidence). Her passion for putting together a great outfit is visible throughout her work. One look at her signature blog shows us she is not afraid to take chances.

Courtney Halverson (@PRETTYLITTLEFAWN) is an actress/fashion blogger who is sharing her awesome finds from 2011. As put in her own words, her style is “something between a vintage cowgirl and the clothes your grandma keeps in the attic”.

Jill Walace (@LITTLEBLACKBOOTS) is an LA-based blogger with a bohemian-inspired style. Jill’s boyfriend is the photographer and the “resident IT guy” behind Little Black Boots bringing their adventures into life. The Californian landscape provides the perfect setting for this boho chic beauty’s outfits.

Jenny Ong (@NEONBLUSH) is another favourite fashion blogger who covered New York Fashion Week through her creative eyes. Her style is all about creating a balance between classic and contemporary pieces with a minimalistic approach. Founded in 2010 in LA, Jenny started her blog as a hobby and successfully turned it into a tastefully curated collection of her style, favourite interior, and travels.
